Travel Grant for the 6th World Conference on Research Integrity

Ottawa, ON (November 14, 2018)

As part of the Secretariat on Responsible Conduct of Research’s efforts to promote responsible conduct of research (RCR), we are pleased to launch a Travel Grant to promote Canadian attendance at the 6th World Conference on Research Integrity (6WCRI) in Hong Kong from June 2-5, 2019.

This Travel Grant, similar to the one offered in connection with 4WCRI and 5WCRI, will provide researchers, faculty, graduate students and institutional administrators from Canadian institutions with an opportunity to learn more about RCR from an international perspective and engage leading RCR practitioners from around the world.

Attendees will be expected to pass on knowledge learned at the Conference to students, faculty and staff at their institutions.

The Travel Grant will offer a maximum of 12 applicants with financial assistance to attend the Conference (maximum grant of $3,500.00). The Travel Grant will assist with the costs of conference registration, round trip air fare and accommodations.

Priority will be given to applicants from institutions that have not previously received a WCRI travel grant.

If you would like more details about the Secretariat’s 6WCRI Travel Grant, please visit the following links: Application Criteria and Procedures and Application Form.

The Secretariat has sent a notification of this opportunity to the designated RCR contacts at all Canadian eligible institutions.
